ShamaMama Dee is a writer, storyteller, visual artist, ecstatic dancer and modern day mystic. A way-shower for the highly sensitive, those who feel different, misunderstood, and at times, crazy.

Like the zebra who remains untamed, ShamaMama Dee is a free thinker who embraces her uniqueness, while finding comfort within the herd.

An advocate for mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness, she facilitates non-traditional dance events and workshops, inviting others on a body felt, soulful journey of discovery towards one’s Higher Self and Source.

ShamaMama Dee sees her mystical experiences not as a unique phenomenon, but as a universal possibility.

A death midwife, and proponent of hospice, she supports families navigating a compassionate death for loved ones.

ShamaMama Dee appears as part human-part zebra, giving onlookers a sense of what it’s like to feel different, vulnerable and alone without community.

When facilitating dance events or at book readings, ShamaMama Dee masks her face, so others might see something Greater.
